The rotate editor uses 90°, 180°, and 270° clockwise steps, plus 0° (original). That covers typical sideways phone shots and upside-down scans.

Rotate when the image is turned sideways or upside down in the camera sense. Use Flip when content looks mirrored left-to-right or reflected vertically.

Rotation runs in your browser for local uploads. If you import via URL, your browser fetches that image directly.

The rotate editor uses one image per session. Open it again with another file when you are done exporting.
