For reliable scanning, your QR code should be at least 2×2 cm (0.8×0.8 in) on business cards and 5×5 cm on posters. Smaller codes may fail on older smartphone cameras.
Use high contrast: black on white, or dark colors on light backgrounds. Avoid placing QR codes on busy patterns or low-contrast surfaces—scan success drops dramatically.
Leave empty white space (at least 4 mm) around all sides of the QR code. Logos or text too close to the code can cause scan failures.
If you need to change where your QR code points after printing, you have two options. Option 1: Generate a new QR code with the updated URL and reprint.
